A Rose Petal Lesson
Here's an interesting article from "The Sun Herald" in South Mississippi with an important lesson for couples planning an outdoor wedding. The author, Kandi Anderson, confesses that she often supplied a date two weeks earlier than her daughter's actual wedding date when she ordered various "props" from online wedding vendors. This strategy, intended to ensure that needed items were delivered on time, backfired on her when it came to the 10,000 rose petals that were to have lined the aisle. If you're planning to use rose petals to decorate your outdoor wedding setting, keep in mind that fresh petals are fragile and perishable, and they won't keep for two weeks. If you simply must plan ahead, you might want to consider silk rose petals instead.

I've seen the flowers lining the aisle THICK and it looks GREAT! I can see why she did that, but you definitely have to do flowers just a day before or day of .... you have to trust your florist. ~Amanda B.
