Should You Include Your Dog at Your Outdoor Wedding?

Because outdoor weddings are often casual and fun, many couples consider including the four-legged members of their family. If you're thinking about inviting your dogs--or even including a dog in the wedding ceremony--this Pocono Record article by wedding celebrant Lois Heckman is filled with good advice. With some thoughtful planning, your dog can be a memorable participant in your wedding day.

Well it's not like your door will live to remember your wedding. lol Anyway if you have a dog and they feel like family then i can see why you might want to invite them.

I recently came across a site that sells butterflies for release at your wedding, and I thought what an amazing idea!!! I had never thought of that before, but that is so clever. With a little research, I found the best site to do that was http://butterfly-weddings.com/. We had a dog at our outdoor wedding, he carried the rings!

What a great idea! Seems more and more our furry four legged friends are so much of our lives, why not include them.

Since dog is a man's best friend, including your best friend in your ceremony since perfectly appropriate. It may be a little tricky with the indoor weddings, but outdoor ceremonies are perfect for your four legged pals! Great article btw!

There are an awful lot of distractions for our four legged friends outdoors... My dog is generally very docile but cannot resist chasing a passing squirrel, rabbit, or bird...

Absolutely let your dog be at the wedding. Their spirit will remember the love felt by the bride and groom. You can have a "natural" :) wedding outside and truly be one with nature and her beautiful surroundings. mother earth will give you energy and her love in abundance the closer you are to her.
For your outdoor wedding, touch the trees, lay the earth, feel the grass, and reach for the sky like a butterfly floating to heaven above. be one with nature, and let it be one with you.
